Meet Garden Girl
Terry Trantham is a farmsteader born with a garden in her heart. She has traveled and lived across the globe, learning sustainable farming techniques from many cultures. Her hybrid philosophies have resulted in a glorious 5-acre food forest haven. Terry dedicates herself to spreading the message of love and abundance. She is a pillar of acceptance and positive living, and all you have to do is step foot on Garden Girl Farm to feel the magic!
The Future is Food Security
Working with Nature
Permaculture is about designing with nature, not against it. It offers a practical way to grow food, restore soil, and build more resilient landscapes and communities
Creating for the Future
Whether you are creating a garden, a farm, or a larger land project, permaculture principles can help you use resources more wisely and support long-term health for people and the planet.
Abundance and Sustainability
From food forests to regenerative farming, these systems show how thoughtful design can create more abundance with less waste. The goal is not just to produce, but to regenerate.

Education + Workshops
Terry offers ongoing in-person guidance and encouragement for people who want to use food security principles with intention. Through education, individuals build a community grounded in shared learning, practical application, and steady support as they navigate challenges, develop their path forward, and produce food with confidence.
Mentorship
Consultations and mentorships with Terry provide focused, one-on-one support for people who need clarity, direction, or next steps on a specific issue. In a consultation, we assess your goals, identify obstacles, and create a practical plan tailored to your needs so you can move forward with confidence.
“Terry's permaculture expertise transcends the realm of educator and encourager. She encompasses a magical, restorative relationship with land and people, so much so that she herself seems to sprout directly from the fertile soils she nurtures as the most beautiful flower in the garden. In so doing, Terry shares her permaculture wisdom in humble, diversified ways that build the symbiotic relations between land, people, and spirit. As an honored member of our Turtle Island Permaculture Institute's administrative team, Terry has gifted our own re-indigenization journey with precious mentorship while modeling for us the infinite power of Indigenous permaculture.”
