What to Expect

  • Walk-through introduction of a mature food forest with Terry as your guide.

    Work individually with Terry. She can assess your parcel through the seasons, craft a growth plan, and determine appropriate planting locations and species. She will work with you to improve your food security, drawing on her 40+ years of wisdom and experience. Mentorships are custom-tailored to fit your needs, and tuition is based on your unique situation.

Q: Do I need any prior garden experience?
A: Not at all! We welcome learners at all levels. Our program is designed to meet you where you are and help you grow

Q: What if I don't have land of my own yet?
A: No problem! Our farm provides the perfect learning ground, and the skills you acquire will be invaluable when you're ready for your own space.

Q: How much time should I commit to learning food security principles?
A: Beyond the scheduled tours or mentorship, the sky is the limit. Depending on your level of passion and interest, we recommend setting aside a few hours per week to practice and implement what you've learned.
